Overview
Vacation Rental Desk™ has tried diligently to improve the quality of service offered to our clients by adding content editing functionality for all Vacation Rental Desk™ web pages. However, in order to ensure a positive and valuable visitor experience, Vacation Rental Desk™ requires that each vacation rental owner's webpage meet our editorial guidelines.

Disclaimer
We encourage all of our clients to read and understand our editorial guidelines. If for any reason these guidelines are not met, the account holder's webpage may be edited by Vacation Rental Desk™ without notice--though we will do our best to notify you of any changes by email in a timely fashion so that you can review your webpage. Vacation Rental Desk™ also reserve's the right to remove your webpage and suspend or terminate your account in the event that a single serious, or repeated violation, of our editorial guidelines has been made.

1. Inappropriate and Offensive Content
Inappropriate and offensive content (content hereby is defined as text or photos) includes the following: harsh or foul language; offensive pictures; solicitations; text-based advertisements and/or image advertisements for products, services, persons, places, or other websites; html code; any other content which distracts the website visitor from a positive and informative experience or encourages the website visitor to leave the Vacation Rental Desk™ website.

2. Unrelated Content
Unrelated content for use in webpages include: information, URLs, or pictures not relating to the vacation rental(s), business, market or guests.

3. Upper Case
Textual content may NOT BE TYPED IN ALL UPPER CASE. Excessive upper-casing found in your webpage will be edited or removed. The only words allowed to be in all upper case are acronyms or abbreviations; however, excessive use of Acronyms will be removed by the editorial department.

4. Misspellings
Textual content with a high number of misspellings may be edited or removed at our discretion. Misspellings can cause frustration for visitors, and makes your vacation rental and the Listing look unprofessional. Therefore, we ask you that you please spell check your textual content.

5. Content Presentation and Formatting
Textual presentation and formatting in all content must be appropriate. Excessive white space, line breaks between or after sentences, and grammatically incorrect or excessive punctuation is not allowed. Inappropriate presentation and formatting remains subjective to the VacationRentalDesk.com editorial staff. Examples of inappropriate textual content presentation and formatting include: multiple line breaks between two sentences in a content section, which leaves a large gap in the presentational flow of your webpage, and makes it difficult for visitors to read; placing multiple dashes "-----" in or multiple exclamation marks "!!!" after sentences or phrases, which causes readability to suffer. Again, please be considerate to the website visitor and make sure that your webpage textual content is presentable and professional.
